Astrologers say a full moon represents a pivotal time when we are asked to amplify our light by facing our fear!
As I sat in the direction of the rising sun this morning, the beautiful new statue of Quan Yin in my garden appeared from the darkness.
A fitting greeting for the day, as I motivate myself to step further into my light as I share my approach to wellbeing through dance, somatic movement, meditation, and energy healing with the wider world.
My work is embodied in the name Healing Yoga, Yoga meaning union which for me relates to the integration of all aspects of ourselves- a wholeness that is full in its power & potential!
With my values focused on practices “offline” I have resisted the social media train but I recognize it is also my fear of feeling vulnerable and exposed.
This reminds me of the amazing poem by Marianne Williamson:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? …
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
So with this and from a place of love and authenticity I stretch my social media wings in the hope to spread a little more light to places I may not otherwise reach!

With love this day,
